I can't say much for the 08 G8, I can however say I am real excited to test drive the 09 G8 GXP. 0-60 in 4.7, Corvette powertrain, heated leather seats....I saw it at the NYAS. What a sweet car. Even as a 4 door, it got my attention. I have video of it from the show:
