I agree that Lincoln may need to alter the design of their MKS test mule to better match the prototype; however, I don't think that Lincoln has been off of the mark with two of it's newest product launches: the MKX and MKZ.

Their interiors are strikingly similar, but it's for a good reason. They rock. I recently went car shopping for an entry level luxury car and found that the MKZ just couldn't be touched for the money (partly because of how willing Lincoln is to make a sale).

Everyone that sees the exterior of the car comments about how they can't believe that it's from the Ford bloodline. Then once they get inside they constantly ask me how much I paid for the car and remark about how upscale it looks.

While Ford still has a long way to go I think that they are making strides in the right direction with several of their new products:
Ford Fusion and Edge
Lincoln MKX and MKZ
