Edmunds reports: 2008 Chrysler Aspen 2-Mode Hemi Hybrid. Looks like Chrysler is lining up for some free dirty hippie lovin'. The enormous Aspen (haw, haw is gettin' a lit bit better mileage. It's still bigger than big. It's still sorta fug (good lookin' for a big pile, we suppose). And it's gas mileage probably won't get past 20 mpg. Everyone wins!
Rumor has it these hybrids may be available by the end of 2007 or early 2008.

Have you been watching the Toyota Tundra "Hog" truck ads lately on TV? What a joke and they are nothing to compare to most of the Dodge and Ford trucks. Most Tundra Truck are just blvd cruisers.

If the article is correct, the improvement will be 40% in the city and 25% on the highway. The 2007 2wd Durango with the Hemi gets 15/20. With the improvement, it should be 21/25.
25 mpg from vehicle that can tow the QEII and seat 8? Better than anything the Japanese can put out there, that is for sure.
