Hiram

In the 80's and early 90's I had 3 SAABs they were great cars.

I had a 1982 900 4 door, a 1987 900S hatchback and a 1993 9000 CED. These cars were unique looking and fun, they were also very good on snow and ice.

Test drove one recently and sad to say that the fun has been drained out of them! Booo for GM! SAABs used to be different from everything else on the road. Now they just blend in.

saab isn't that bad. their product is just stale and limited. the saab 9-5 is like 30000 years old. I wish saabs looked like they used to.

Chadillac

I drove a couple of Saabs recently and thought they were pretty nice. And not priced to badly.

I would blame advertising because when was the last time you saw a Saab ad. I do think they need to distance themselves from GM as much as possible, but their product seems decent.

No wonder Ghosn quit as Nissan NA head. Infiniti at less than 10K sales per month and Nissan down 11%!
