So many people are saying the Tundra is going to win over hearts and minds of U.S. truck buyers that we have to think the Tundra is going to be a major problem for Toyota.
AutoWeek covers some Tundraific problems here:
AutoWeek reports: Toyota goes way over budget in Texas.
AutoWeek reports: Tundra arrives but waits for an engine.
Man, over budget and the things still ain't-a ready to be sold? That's trouble the size of a cow pie... or something equally big and Texasy. Meanwhile, Autoblog reports: Duh: J.D. Power finds strong loyalty among truck buyers.
The Tundra will prove to be a miscalculation by the bigwigs at Toyota. You agree?
That's a snap of a 2007 Toyota Tundra.

As an added bonus Toyota trucks can not be ordered in the sheer variety that the big 2 and a half can. I can't see the Tundra being a big hit for people or companies that need a truck to work.

I completely agree. #1, the thing is uuuugggh-leeeee. Ugly. Really ugly. #2, it is having major problems getting out of the gate. #3, it has to compete in the Big 3's wheelhouse, with a brand new sweet Silverado, great Ram, and trusty F150. New Ram due in late 07, it is only going to get tougher for this ugly red-headed stepchild.
