By shocking, we mean not shocking. Not at all. In fact, 100% predictable. Autoblog reports: By The Numbers: June 2006 - UPDATE.
Of interest:
Suzuki: up 28%
Acura: down 19%
GMC: down 46%
Saab: down 50%
Poor Saab. But, really, screw Saab. They used to make an interesting product. But, it turns out, if you make a car that looks like every other car and rides like almost every other car, but you charge more for it, guess what happens? Sales down 50%. Saab used to make interesting cars , but its lack of attention, lack of ingenuity, and lack of interest in building a real car for the rest of us... They will be missed.
That's a snap of the 2006 Saab 9-3's interior. They'da added more buttons, but they ran out of room. There are also four places to get information from the car: lower gauge cluster, upper information center, big display in center of dash, and lower LCD readout for temperature. Meanwhile, there are 70-some buttons to manage. And a steering wheel. Who has time to steer?
