Bloomberg News reports: Ford to Simplify Pronunciation of Lincoln MKZ and MKX. Poor Lincoln, still fartin' around with a name change. If they can't get the name of the vehicle right, how in the hell are they going to get the actual car right?
If it isn't obvious already, Lincoln is in need of some serious help, and we expect the brand to have even lower sales for 2006 than 2005. While we're not sure it's possible to sell a negative number of cars, we think Lincoln can do it.
We just can't figure Ford out. Ford owns Volvo and a good chunk of Mazda, and we dig both brands. The Mazda3 is great! The upcoming Volvo C30 is friggin' awesome. Why can't Ford get some help from those divisions in order to make their domestic vehicles better?
Why does'nt Ford start building cars like the ones that made Lincoln great in the past. I had a 1965 4 door that was a far better car, as far as ride and comfort, than anything built in Detriot in the last 20 years. And It had style.
