Oh, we know that Tommy LaSorda is running the show, but he ain't got no big ol' mustache... how's he gonna do anything? The Detroit News reports: Chrysler stalls; big loss looming.
The Chrysler Group is officially in the breakdown lane after three years of solid profits and is counting on a flurry of new cars and trucks coming later this year to get back on track.Ah, crap. Well, what do we like coming out of Chrysler? Plenty: 300, Dodge Charger, the... well, there's the... the Dodge Charger is friggin' sweet! But the new Sebring? Buttocks! We just can't figure out how that one got the nod. We can't imagine the Sebring is going to sell well at all.No longer immune from the troubles plaguing its hometown rivals, the Auburn Hills-based division of DaimlerChrysler AG on Thursday reported a $65 million profit in the second quarter, down 91 percent from a year ago, and said it would lose up to $600 million in the third quarter.
We were gonna throw in a picture of the new Sebring, but everyone wants to see Dr. Z. And Alison.
