Chrysler Bones Workers

Flush with cash, Chrysler is tightening the belts of the worker. The Detroit News reports: Chrysler may cap health tab.

Despite robust earnings in 2005, the Chrysler Group announced smaller profit-sharing checks for U.S. factory workers than a year ago and signaled that it is weighing health care cutbacks for its salaried workers.

"I know we've made billions in profit, but none for you!" So much for shared risk/reward.
