I'm Still Thirsty
AutoWeek reports: Helping Hummer. Even if GM was to somehow, miraculously double a Hummer's fuel economy, it would still be shite. The H2, by GM's estimate, averages 14 mpg. So now we'd be talking 28. Party time!
Although we're pretty sure no one buys a Hummer H2 with fuel economy in mind. Glacier melting, sure. Fuel economy? No.

Ditto! With all the Hybrid Cars do they really need to even try?

Yes, If you have the money to buy a Hummer, maybe you are not worried about fuel economy, but there are some people that may live on their hummer because they don't have a house, they may be worried.

Strong opinions. Hard to argue with the case you set forth. Check goodcarbadcar.blogspot.com for more likeminded stuff.
