Yea I bet that GTO was real fast from gas station to gas station. Hell my old '66 Plymouth 383 big block averaged 16 mpg, Thermoquad FTW! I've heard GTO owners getting lower then that.

Those Aussies at the Holden Monaro plant down under really know how to assemble a great road car and my Pontiac GTO is objective proof of that. As a "Goat" of foreign roots with over 11,000 miles of great fun I highly recommend it as a super GT sedan with plenty of room for four along with a great ride ... especially for the price! it's assembled to perfection with a very tight fit and finish ... and with a combined 400 hp and 400 ft/lbs torque, it has excellent speed along with handling sufficient to provide for a good time while "cruising" the back roads ... and by the way has anybody noticed which auto manufacturer and car design won the 2006 Rolex GT Series Championship? That's right, the Pontiac GTO easily beat out all of the Porsche GT3's and Bimmers ... end of story!

Glad to see you back. I missed the snarkiness. So, Saturns are now Opels and Pontiacs are gonna be Holdens; I wish them luck, but it may be too little, too late.
