The future of General Motors, Ford, the Chrysler Group and the men and women who work for them hinges on these new models.

If Ford is banking on the Edge... well, too bad for them. We haven't studied the T&C or Silverado, so we can't comment on those, but we've sat in the Edge and wished we were back on the outside looking at it. Ford spent the green on the outside and left the inside to pure luck. Didn't happen.

I aggree, most car firms spend so much time on making a car look phenominal to the outside viewers but to the driver and the passengers it often feels like a let down.

More time should be spent on making it appealing on the inside, after all the outside often gets banged and dinted.
