Oh, Chrysler. Sippin' all the funny juice will sure make you confused—so you might want to stop it now. Really. If the Crossfire isn't selling, what makes you think the Firepower will? Oh, maybe you'll sell ten of the things, but not enough to make a difference. It would be a very foolish move to: 1. continue selling the Crossfire; 2. Produce the Firepower. Hey, does anyone happen to know of another circumstance where a manufacturer skipped a year? We'd like to do that with our taxes. OK, we'll admit the Firepower is pretty cool lookin', but we still wouldn't buy it. Or build it. We don't want to pay taxes, either.

BMW skipped 1996 for the 5 series.
