The Detroit News reports: Smart cars could save lives. We don't have too much to say about this other than most new safety technology is quite good and that manufacturers should include all safety equipment on all models in order to get prices (of the safety equipment) down to a reasonable level. But, really, we wanted to point out that the video screen on the car in the picture (click the link) is of an accident avoidance system, but the screen seems to be showing an explosion.
