Yes, we're taking some time away from our full-time job of writing headlines for The Onion and focusing all our attention on Cars! Cars! Cars! AutoWeek reports: Acura concludes slow-selling RL flagship needs help. We like the RL a lot, but it does seem to have its shortcomings. We think mostly it has to do with the size of the car—it's just not a big as the competition—and the lack of a V-8 (not that it's really needed):
Lexus LS 430 Wheel Base: 115.2 in.
Infiniti M45 Wheel Base: 114.2 in.
Acura RL Wheel Base: 110.2 in.
The Infiniti M is classified as a Midsize sedan, as is the Acura RL, but the M is far better looking. And the Lexus is classified as a large sedan, so maybe looks (M) and size (LS 430) are stealing sales? We just made that up, but we bet it's right.
