It's gonna be a bad year if our first post is about this but Simon said this post spoke to him. (Whatever Simon.) So it seems Thai food and some Craigslist poster had a run in with a black Jetta.
You had no way of knowing this, but I had recently eaten lunch at the new Thai place in Tysons Corner (It seems they brought the Tsunami with them). Then, during my ride down the Beltway, the reality of my situation became apparent, and desperation set in. And then I got behind you.
We know what that's like, boy howdy.
Anyway, so sorry this is the first post of the year.

I had a VW Jetta once. A '93 I bought new. Had it for 2 1/2 years, 26,000 miles. Got to visit the VW repairman frequently! Biggest piece of shit I ever owned. The folks at VW need to open up a dictonary and look up the the definition for the word reliable. After they learn what reliable means, then they can try, if they can, build a reliable automobile!

I've managed to save up roughly $37215 in my bank account, but I'm not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?

My advice: Avoid anything with the letters VW.
