How To Find Cheap Gas

We posted about finding cheap gas around your town some months ago but it's just as relevant today as it was back then.

CNN did some real research (rather than wait, like we did, for CNN to post something) and found that gas prices may continue to rise in the coming weeks.

Before you totally freak out and starting walking everywhere to save gas, get a load of our list of hybrid cars currently for sale. It's updated often (as far as you know).

Ford Makes Money Not Selling Cars

"What the (profanity of choice)?" you say. "So, how did they make money?" Think loans. Ford has bags of money and is happy to give you a loan to buy one of their cars. Even if they are moving fewer and fewer of them.

So Ford managed a profit on the money-lending side of their business. We know GM makes a ton of dough from their GMAC financing division. Are we witnessing a trend here?

But back to Ford; now we're not rocket scientists... or bankers... or pants-wearers but we're pretty sure selling less cars is bad. Especially since you are loaning money to buy a product (cars) that you are managing to sell less of. Maybe it could work if Ford just turns into a bank.
